ABOUT COLONY 51

   Our first apiary is located in the Town of Sheridan, NY on the Lake Erie shoreline. The perfect spot to set up our bee yard of Langstroth hives.

   An abundance of wildflowers among the vineyards in the area gives our bees a plentiful source of nectar. The lake provided an endless supply of fresh water.

   Orangeville, NY is where our second apiary is located. The scenic countryside meadows are popping with trees and plants good for honey making.

   Keeping Bees is such an amazing experience. Our hope is to continue to grow the population of this most wonderful creature while enjoying some of their delicious honey.
